HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Happy Independence day to all my readers, i am very proud to be an Indian, though i know there are many things which i am not proud of.

I was thinking why is still, India a developing country? i have heard this sentence from the time i was in class 1. its been 20 years now, its still developing, when will i hear the sentence "India is a super power", my experience in the banking sector finds a very small solution to this transition from developing to superpower. Most of the transactions in our country are done with cash which are not recorded, if they are made with debit or credit cards, they will get recorded and no merchant can save their sales tax.

Agriculture sector should be given the prime importance, i am sure India still earns most of its revenue from this sector. With Climate change, we should no more depend on the rains to shower its blessings on the rice crops, biotechnological projects should give more emphasis on developing drought resistant rice varieties.

I am sure in the last 20 years of the journey i have seen the transition from developing to superpower has gained momentum, we have almost overcome the problem of unemployment, Illiteracy, child marriage, religious riots, etc.etc.i know they still exist, but the frequency is less now a days. If the administration of the country is handled by the youth, i am sure we will reach the superpower tag very soon, we need leaders who take wise decision and implement ASAP.

Happy independence day arpi,u said when will INDIA become a superpower,i got an idea which can make INDIA a superpower in just a few days.......just change the currency used in INDIA.....i.e give an order that all the existing currency becomes null and void in certain time and print new currency and ask people to exchange the old one for the new.
what it will do is,it will make all the black money (amount which is not shown in tax records) to be brought out and then give some waiver on the tax for these amounts and then see what sort of financial resources are available in INDIA,INDIA in such a circumstance will be able to do anything as it wants without going for any loan ,it can feed all its residents without leaving a single one hungry,it can improve in technology and science,a whole lot of change can come.

But who will implement it ? there are no leaders who are bold and courageous enough to take any step to the upliftment of the country than themselves.Hope some day we become a super power.

cheers

You are young. Optimistic. I am 62 and I have been hearing "India is a developing coutry" for the last 54 yrs. Before that I did not know anything. Banks can not record 1)money transactions between politicians and contractors. 2) dowry is not given through credit cards 3)No receipts are given for permits and licenses. 5)Filmi people don`t even know what a recorded payment is 6)Swiss banks keep secrets of our politicians. ,
If the entire black money of India is whitened we get 1800000 crores of rupees straight . With that India will become a super power

we are not behind any country! its just that we compare unnecessary things! we have all that we want...let us share! that will suffice 90% of existing problems
