DID I SAY SOMETHING WRONG?

Me and my colleague were travelling to office in the cab when he raised the topic of people suffering in Bangladesh with the devastating effects of Hurricane AILA, he was feeling very bad about the people and their sufferings. I know my self, that i am an emotional person , but i dint feel sad about the people suffering over there, suddenly the thought came in my mind that, they are facing the consequences of the sin that they had done, when Bangladeshis come to India and blasts bomb here in my country? is that not bad? do they really feel bad about it? so even i don't have to pity on them.

What ever they build through out the year, one such hurricane washes away every thing leaving them to live in poverty. India has never participated in any war until someone really bothers our peace, and that's why today we are the rich among our neighbouring countries. God has blessed us with all powers he has and today we are in the race of super power countries.

If today India has gained respect in the international community, the reason behind is hard working men and women, who believe in "live and let others live", we don't bother any body, neither we think of going and planting bombs in other countries. Pakistanis & Bangladeshis read this carefully, if you or your government doesn't stop this act of disturbing India's growth, believe me even you people will never prosper, and the best example is the hurricane every year in Bangladesh and the everlasting tension in Pakistan between the terrorist and the Government.

lol, i dont know how to react, how can you relate aila to planting of bombs.......see in every country ,in every community there are good people and indeed there are bad people, natural disasters are something that are related on various other geographical factors and being an environmental student you know it better.
i say people have opinions but on a general scenario we should sympathise with people who are met with misfortunes like this and loose their everything .
Lets try to kill the sin within people but not the people

Feelings are abundant in human heart and sometimes our own feelings conflict with each other. everybody is blessed with freedom to express themselves and i do respect that. Bangladeshis might have harmed us in a way but i m sure you wont blame the entire country for that. like no two people are alike so not all the people in bangladesh are against us infact some of them might be so busy trying to fight for most common needs of the day overthere that they might not even care for anything else. it would have created a real mess for the people overthere post hurricane. with no proper support for the surviving, innocent people specially children might be forced to die in a lathergic condition. have mercy and kindness towards them if not atleast try to sympathize coz thats what makes us "INDIANS" and HUMAN in first place. dont worry you have not said anything wrong infact you might actually be deeply depressed with the terrorism that you might not consider anyone more responsible for their own deeds here.

Nice article.
Natural disasters have often been associated with the wrong doings of that nation or community. Nature has it's own way of dealing with things and I don't know how far such associations merits considertation. The hurricane had devastating effects on Bengalis this side of the border too. It's strange however that your colleague is not so worried about Indians effected by this calamity.
