SECULAR INDIA

Is this the day for which God created this beautiful Earth? Every where i see, i see human killing other human.I need not go very far, just look at Srilanka, mass human killing, and the reason? simple, just they want Tamil's in their country. Its been so many years , i don't even remember that Mr. Prabhakaran is fighting for the rights of the Tamils in Srilanka, i don't find him doing any thing wrong in asking for the rights, its only the way he has choosed is wrong.......Had the Srilankan government given equal opportunity to every body irrespective of their nationalities, there would have been no Prabhakaran, no LTTE, no mass human murder.

That was not it and just i see towards Pakistan, Aeriel bombing to swipe out Taliban's from their hideouts, don't know how many Taliban's are killed but innocent people are suffering in this act of the Pakistani government. If Pakistan was strict from the beginning against terror and terrorist, i am sure, the present situation would not have been there.

I thank God that i am an Indian, which is secular and every one is heard if not soon little late, its only in India that every religion enjoys equal right, every one enjoys the power of selecting their own leader. Forgetting what ever happened in the past, like all those Hindu Muslim riots, because now people started realising, that fighting for religion will not fetch happy life, its only good education, respect for each other, working together, is the only way to become a super power. I would write that every country should learn from India the way different people from different religion lives here as neighbours and help each other in need.

I COULD NOT CASTE MY VOTE

Yes i could not caste my vote today, i took all the pains to search the polling booth for my area, then when i went there they could not find my name there, so there was no way that i can vote, i was deprived of my fundamental right. Later i found the reason was, because when they came for the verification we moved from the place where we lived earlier. If this the way our election commission works, i am sure only 30% of the citizens do caste Vote and 70% of them just accept who ever comes to power.

Now a days at least one member of every family lives in some other part of the country for better job option, where as his/her name still appears in the place of birth, this is not how it should work, as long as we have a voters card/PAN card/PASSPORT, we should be eligible to vote in any part of the country. I am really very sad that i could not vote and select my leader, now, i will have to accept who ever comes to power.Election commission should change the way its currently working.

MEMORIES OF VARIOUS STATES THAT I VISITED

As a child i was one of those lucky kids who got the chance to live in different states and cities in India. My father was frequently posted to different cities of different states, I have lived in Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh. Westbengal is my birth place and native place , i have been to uttaraanchal too. I liked almost every place because every state and city was different from each other.

ASSAM:
I liked Assam because of its greenary, there i experienced the cold winters of north eastern India, I saw fresh vegetables in the market direct from the farms. Mekla saaris still attracts me, it was my first Kendriya Vidyalaya in Assam, i learnt many things from KV BRPL, i got recognisation in many cultural activities, I experienced Riots, saw refugees for the first time, every commodity was so expensive there. I still long to see the bridge over the Brahmaputra, the wide river which has island in between. My first crush in school.

UTTAR PRADESH:
Uttar Pradesh didn't leave a good impression on me , We lived there for three years in a city called BAREILLY. People over there are very narrow minded, they value friendship, but women are not very well treated in the family. Being a Bengali learning music is a part of our culture, people heard me practising early morning and asked my mom why do u your daughter learn music? In BAREILLY i first saw a murder on the street, dead body lying on the street near the drain and blood flowing. I was always treated as a out sider in Bareilly. Here i first went to school riding a bicycle.

ANDHRA PRADESH:

VISAKHAPATNAM

I am still living here from the last
twenty years ,I live in Visakhapatnam, most of my education was here, thank god that i got to go to good reputated college and UNIVERSITY. (Andhra University), this city has given me many good friends and of course my best friend. I owe to this city, this city gave me the oppertunity to earn money. Visakhapatnam is a lovely place u name something and u find it here, Hills, Ocean, Forest, Wild life sanctuary, good educational institutions, heavy industries, star hotels, and of course helping people. I never felt that i am not a TELUGU speaking person, all those people whom i ever met in Vizag treated me the way they would treat a Telugu.
RAJAHMUNDRY:
Its a dist. in AP where i spent SIX months of my life and six months is really very small time to understand people and the life in the city. One thing i like about this city is people are very hard working when i was there in 1997, it was a small town, i went there again in 2004 and this time i saw a metamorphised City, with good number of hotels, well constructed apartments, tourism, good roads. i was surprised to see such a drastic change within six years. RIVER GODAVARY attracts me a lot.

HYDERABAD:
I lived here for fifteen months and i saw drastic changes in me, i became very professional, indipendent, life taught me almost every thing , i enjoyed the corporate life here.

WEST BENGAL:

Hmmmm....Its my native place, native place of my parents, grand parents, and great grand parents....i am not at all comfortable living here because of its population and pollution, extremely fast life and lack of english education (10 years back). Politics is a very interesting topic among bengalis, i find my self stranger in my native place. My parents can leave me alone for any place that i like to go to, apart from KOLKATA. With all its negatives i still love to visit Kolkata frequently, i love the small villages, Earthern huts, so many ponds, the music in the air, Robindro songeet, Rich bengali culture and of course the sweet language.

Crowded Howrah Bridge:

UTTARANCHAL:
I went to NAINITAAL for only a visit after my 10 std board exam. Its a tourist place so, i can only say its a pretty hill station. Later i saw Naini itaal in various movies.

Miss a male lover

Most of the office staff is preparing for the DJ nite, "DJ AKEEL " is the DJ here at VIZAG, every one has got a partner in fact a person whom they love, except me, today i really missed a lover in my life. I would danced with the peppy numbers of the DJ holding his hands, getting lost in a romantic mood, i would find myself so protected with him, he would ask me to stay for a while "please don't go, aur thori der ruk jao", he wud always miss me, like i would do in his absence. Offffff.......... huh.........i know life is more of thorns than roses. I can't compromise my love just for one simple DJ nite, there will be lots of DJ nite's in future but then, love happens only once and i will be very careful to shower my love on a deserving person.

Hate those who dont respect women.

It was really very very bad and shame on our part that we still live among those people who don't respect women, her feelings, her self respect. The video is all over in the Internet when the whole world saw a 17 year old girl was beaten by a man (this happens only when Taliban is in power) in Pakistan. Shameless people, just because she refused to get married? i feel like using all profanities that exist on this earth, for the community that encourages all this inhuman activity on women, do they forget at a later age, that life on this earth continues only because of women?
I really appreciate the courage and boldness of Mr. Manmohan Singh, who openly used the word "EPICENTRE" for Pakistan who encourages all inhuman activities, out of which the most important is TERRORISM. He said "Pakistan is the EPICENTRE of terrorism" very true, i would add one more "Its EPICENTRE where all inhuman activities are manufactured", how dare a 17 year girl can be beaten publicly?

Deserving candidate for th epost of PM

Its the election time and again a big headache whom to vote? for me the deserving candidate for the post of PM should have the following characteristics,

1. He should be a public ICON,
2.He should be physically and mentally very well balanced, away from any illness.
3. People would love to listen to him/her at rallies (not boring speeches)
4. He should be very much focused on India's economic development.
5. His first focus should be on projects like "ANTI-TERRORISM"
6.He need not be an experienced person in politics, but should be a good human being.
7.He should focus on projects that improves the condition of the farmers.

I am looking for all these criteria, i really don't want any old man as a leader of this country, who cant even take care of themselves, what will they care or can do for the country? I really want RAHUL GANDHI to be the PM this time, i wish OMAR ABDULLAH was one among the contestant for the PM post.
